I work in UI / UX design now, but how did I get here?
All I wanted to do growing up was build LEGOs.
Something about having a vision in your head and creating something from scratch inspired me. So I thought: how could I do that forever?
Trading LEGOs for the wood shop, 3D printer, and sewing machine, I studied Industrial Design at the University of Oregon, but quickly found that UI / UX spoke to me in a way that physical design couldn't.
After school, I decided to make the official leap into the world of UI / UX, and I haven't looked back since!
